So far I’ve included a few “adult” beverages, but in honor of this Saturday’s SWEAT Party, I wanted to feature a more…healthy drink

Ok, so I fell off a bit with the Thirsty Thursday post but I’m back. This week, I’ll be featuring one of my favorite summer classic drinks. Although summer is slowly coming to a close, you can always have a taste of summer with this one. If you have any specialty beverages you enjoy (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), send them in to smorris@graeenterprises.com and we’ll feature them.
Toast up and enjoy!
White Peach Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle of dry white wine (or you can use a Moscato [plain or flavored] or a Riesling)
3/4 peach flavored Vodka (I hear Ciroc Peach is poppin’)
1/4 cup of white sugar
4 cinnamon sticks
3/4 cup of fresh frozen peaches
3/4 cup of fresh frozen strawberries
3/4 cup of seedless red grapes cut in halves
3/4 cup of seedless white grapes cut in halves
*some recipes also call for 6 teaspoons of frozen lemonade concentrate. this is optional*
Preparation:
In a large pitcher combine wine, vodka, and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add in peaches, grapes, strawberries and cinnamon sticks. Refrigerate sangria for two hours or overnight to get full flavor of ingredients. Serve chilled over ice. For a more refreshing taste, add mint as a garnish and in sangria mix prior to chilling.
Ok, so I’m gonna try something new here but I’m gonna need some crowd participation. Since everyone has coined Thursday as “Thirsty Thursday”, I figured why not feature a drink of the day. … Continue Reading
