Dating in the City – Advice from GreatDateDeals

Dating with a purpose: Do your expectations match?

Let’s face it. After our 20′s (for most of us at least) we reach a point in our  lives where dating becomes less social and more purposeful. Dating is a process and a journey. While following that yellow brick road, we develop certain expectations. Each of interpret “Oz” differently.  The key is to ensure that there is enough open dialogue between you and your mate, so you can identify if both of you are on the same page. Don’t be bashful when discussing your expectations. As the saying goes, ask and ye shall receive…do you want to be married, are you interested in having kids?  Am I suggesting go for the jugular on the first date? Absolutely not, but over time these types of discussions should definitely come up. At the end of the day you don’t want to feel like you were caught off guard, not really knowing who you are dating and what they are hoping to get out of the dating or relationship experience.
Participating in different dating activities and outings is a great way to feel each other out and get to know each other. Check www.greatdatedeals.com or Text GreatdateNYC to 70000
