Over the last three months, I’ve been faced with some personal challenges. Although this REALLY shouldn’t be a challenge, somehow it is. I’ve been natural for six years. Out of those six, this is the first time – and the longest – I’ve worn my hair in its natural state. It’s quite liberating.

There are so many references, books, articles, blogs, and “experts” on how to create your personal brand that all of us can become inundated with information, and spend too much time trying to “discover” who we REALLY are.
It takes a person with total self control to mix business with pleasure. Both parties must be willing to put all feelings aside even when intimate. When one or both parties “falls” for the other, they must know when to “pull out”…no pun intended, of either or both of the relationships. It’s true that these types of relationships CAN turn out in the favor of “love”, but don’t force it…let nature takes its course.
That’s a great idea! When you’re stressed out at the office, go to the bathroom for a quick 15 minutes to let it all out. Uhm… that’s what we’re talking about, right? (SPELLED OUT: THAT WAS A MASTURBATION JOKE.)

I think if you are afforded the opportunity to mix business with pleasure in your career field then you have a great life. Love it.

I think that when you mix business with pleasure, you’re playing with fire. It could work out, but most times it doesn’t. And if the person you’re dealing with if in a position of power within the company it could easily be your downfall. Worse case scenario you could be fired. If you’re the person in the position of power, you could be hit with sexual harassment charges!
While I’m not against love in the office, I say make sure you know what you’re doing before you’re sorry in the end.
