Florida Travel

With the end of summer approaching, most people are still finding time to do some last-minute traveling. A great place to go at this time is Orlando, Fl., only if you don’t mind the hurricane warnings and occasional rain every other day. It’s very beautiful at this time because the weather is decent, and you will always get a nice breeze.

There are many places to be entertained if you don’t want to visit the theme parks or water parks. The late night scene is great and International Drive is the place to be. You have restaurants, bars, movies, and best of all the attractions. Short for being called I-Drive, you have Wonder Works, Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, Titanic Experience, Helicopter rides and more. If you’re that shopaholic, don’t forget Pointe Orlando. It’s an outlet shopping mall that has a theater with 20 screens with an I-max theater also. After being in Central Florida for ten years, I was able to take advantage of all attractions and theme parks. Walt Disney World is not the only place that attracts the young, but also the mature with what they call ‘Downtown Disney’.

If you get a chance to venture out of Orlando, make sure you stop in Kissimmee. This is one of the many old cities/towns in Florida. One of the famous roads in Kissimmee is route 192 which connects Kissimmee and St. Cloud all the way to Disney World. I sure do miss it. Have fun, enjoy and take as many pictures as you can.

If I can duplicate myself, I would be a tour guide to many travelers and sightseers.

Reinaldo Humphrey says, “Remember, fun is only right around the corner, and your youth is always in you. Take care and enjoy the rest of the summer.”
